New Home Card

Here's one I made for last month's Papercraft Inspirations magazine. The basic cut was a shape from the Silhouette store, but I messed around with it a bit, cutting it out in various colours then piecing all the bits together. The black dots were made with the black enamel liquid pearls

I liked the result. For some reason I love the look of red and aqua together, and black and white gingham ribbon has always been my favourite

Another disaster emerged from the big tidy up. I have lost my precious DCWV burlap stack. How could that happen. It's only 6 x 6 but is really bulky. So not only have I thrown my mojo out with the rubbish, it seems a few other things may have gone missing as well. But somethings have climbed into a box all ready to be posted to someone. Drop by tomorrow to see what it is. See you then x

  1. Great card! I love the red/aqua combination, as well. Need to get some of that black and white ribbon. Love the look of it on your cards.

  2. Great new home card Enfys. I keep all my craft stuff in one room & don't craft anywhere else in the house and I still lose things! I reckon we've got a poltergeist that's a secret crafter! Pat x

  4. Your card is so cute! I love the way the pearls resemble "nails" in the house. Hope you find your burlap hiding someplace you haven't looked yet. BethAnn M.

  5. Oh, sorry you've lost the paper stack! I'm sure your mojo will come home soon. We all have periods of our creative shutdown. Love the cute card. I've always wondered why teal and red go so well together, but it's on the color wheel. Be well my friend. Big hugs. Jess

  6. Very cute card! I got a Cameo and am just loving it. Playing with it makes me happy.
I have one of those burlap stacks too and would hate to lose it. I seldom buy any kind of stack, but that one spoke to me and I totally love that stuff. I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. Hang in there it will show up.

  19. I really should play more with my Silhouette, but first I will need to tidy up. I never seem to be able to find anything, since all my craft supllies are spread over the house. Oh, to have a dedicated craftroom...
